All of the BBC Radio Any Questions Panel last Friday evening (27/8/2010) were posting on Twitter. When asked about this they all appeared apologetic about it, as though they had been caught with their hands in the cookie jar, or looking at porn, or reading Winnie the Pooh. It was a really pathetic performance by one and all, including Iain Dale who is a well known prolific UK Conservative blogger.

While Twitter, like blogs, propagates a load of personal rubbish, it can be a very powerful community tool, when used for that purpose. It is too easy, and dishonest, to dismiss it as a frivolous piece of social networking.

That's why I took Iain to task on Twitter itself on his poor performance on the BBC, as follows (read from the bottom up):

Howazat !!
