Email from EU EEA
Protection of Leprechauns

Dear Pól Ó Duibhir,

Thank you for your e-mail. I have received it from Gülcin.

The letter which appear on the website is clearly forged. You can find a copy attached as well.

The European Environment Agency does not have the mandate/power to designate Natura 2000 areas. The person who appears to sign that letter does not work at the Agency and has never worked here (if he exists).

There is no official designated Area for the Protection of Little People by the European Union and if it would have been a real request on a Natura 2000 area, the EU Commission would be the EU institution to direct questions to.

I hope this clarifies the issue.

Kind regards,

Iben Stanhardt
