Her death cert gave me the following information:

This cert speaks volumes from the other side of the grave. This was the granny I knew. She was bedridden when I knew her but she ran the house from her bed and all around were in awe of her.

• She is listed as a pensioner in her own right.
• While she died of old age, she is specifically recorded to have been with it to the end. This would have been reported by Mollie, her daughter/carer and would either have been specified in advance or have been stated so often and so assertively while she was alive that it became second nature to report it so.
• Cert says she was 90 but she was only 80˝. Nevertheless this information helped me find her birth cert which had been eluding me up to then as I assumed she had been born in 1866-70.
