Mick Dwyer's Wedding

The photo above appeared in the July 1934 issue of Irish Tatler and Sketch, the foremost Irish socialite magazine of its day. The bride is Agnes Ferguson (of posh cake fame), the groom my uncle Mick (businessman). The bridesmaid is Frances Bowen (Belfast) and the best man my father, Luke Dwyer.
The photo is by Lafayette, Dublin. The reproduction here is from a small one column photo in the magazine itself. A slightly different studio quality shot from the same photo session, retrieved from family papers, is reproduced below.
The bride's trousseau and the bridesmaid's ensemble are by Royston & Flannery, Dublin.
