Fógraí FáilObserved in Merrion St./Square , 2nd quarter 2006.---oooOooo--- Even State signage at the highest level is not immune from lousy Irish. The Irish language versions of the two signs above suffer from bad grammar, misspelling, missing letters, and spaces in words instead of between them. ---oooOooo-- The sign below is for the Restaurant in the Millennium Wing of the National Gallery. George Bernard Shaw, who effectively financed much of the Gallery's modernisation in the past, would turn in his grave. |
