Occasional Photos


[I intend adding to these as I scan stuff in.]
Mam, and her friend and colleague, Jo Ward, went to Germany in 1937 and cycled a fair bit around the Köln.

I remember her telling me that it was all "Heil Hitler" at the time.

I think this photo was taken in the region of Drachenfels.
When Martina and myself went back to Köln with her in the early fifties, a follow up photo was de rigeur.

The hat and dangling cigarette are typical.

The clothes sense and style clearly carried on down the male line!
