His death cert gave me the following information:

• It confirmed that this was Patrick's brother. I didn't know about the brother and took a chance on requesting the cert.
• It told me he died at 15 months of what must have been, even for those days, a very unusual complaint - "inflammation from teething, one week", and that this was certified by a doctor.
• His mother was present at his death.
• The family was still living in Glasnevin.
