His death cert gave me the following information:

• Luke died of pneumonia.
• Luke had a daughter, Jane, married to a Crosby, and living in Catle Rd, Ballina where Luke died.
• This set me on the trail of Jane's family in Ballina, where Edward turned out to be a member of the RIC.
