Pól's Retirement
The Department of Finance hosted a receptionin honour of Pól's retirement on 10 February 2006.
Eamonn Kearns delivered a very flattering
oration on behalf of Pól's colleagues
to which Pól responded,
thanking those present for coming
and his Departmental colleagues
for Eamonn's kind words and
their very generous departing gift.
The meeting then adjourned to Foley's pub, around the corner,
and finished in the early hours of the morrow.
