The motley crew of Santa's reindeer above are a selection from the Jersey oligarchy and their collaborators.

For their crimes they are sentenced to a reindeer term. This consists of one night's hard labour followed by deportation from the island, or elsewhere, for a period of twelve months, following which the cycle begins again and continues in perpetuity, or saecula saeculorum as their RCC brethern might describe it.

They should consider themselves lucky in comparison with what they did to HG. At least they will be fed and have a permanent roof over their head, which, unlike HG whose head they messed with, they will be able to avail of.
