Gardens from the Bridge

The Gardens was in a hollow, alongside the Dodder river and was prone to periodic flooding. We lived there with my Granny between 1950 and 1954 and I don't remember an actual flood during that period. But the mind can play tricks and I am open to correction on that. The people were of mixed religion (I think just Protestant and Catholic), and ages and incomes (though this latter was probably within a relatively narrow band).
